"I began drawing with my daughter around her first birthday and soon learned that everything is a collaboration. Sometimes we work in tandem and discuss our respective drawings as we go, other times we work on the same piece. We share our materials and do not judge them. A crayon is as good as an archival pencil. Toddlers do not overthink mark making. MFAs do."
